Wind Display for Airports

WDD-2 is a high-tech Wind Digital Display for airports. It collects and manipulates wind data in real time. A big number of different vendors anemometers and wind vanes can be connected with it. It can display moving average, minimum and maximum values for the last 10sec, 2min or 10min measurements. Displays the real time measurements also. It transmits the instant values or the manipulated values over serial port (RS-232 or RS485). The communication protocol is programmable. It has been installed in 15 airports. It can be installed in ships and boats too.

Neutron Monitor Registration System

ISNet has developed a Neutron Monitor Prototype System for Athens Neutron Monitor Station.

Meteorological Station

A high quality meteorological station has developed by ISNet.

This metrological station is full expandable over RS-485 bus or through a TCP/IP network. So it is a network distributed Station. It unique design makes it to can handle data from different locations at the same point on earth and gather a huge range of parameters. The station store it data locally and can transmit them over GSM/GPRS modem, TCP/IP link, UHF modem, PSTN modem and Satellite link.

One of the station advantage is that can control devices too. It can has 256 inputs/outputs programmable and different. The user can use different sensors or control systems. It is full parameterized and customized on customer needs. Please feel free to communicate with us to discuss your needs.

Mobile Meteorological Station

ISNet has developed a modern and flexible mobile weather station during Nhreas Project. The prototype weather station was installed in three ships, Superferry II and Bluestar Ithaki that are belonging to Bluestar Ferries Marine Company property and Knossos Palace that is belonging to Minoan Lines Marine Company. ISNet has evolved the prototype in a powerful weather station that can be connected in any meteorological transducer and communicate with any telecommunication mean or service. Weather Station uninterruptedly records weather data saves them locally, displays and transmit them. It has been designed for installation on ship or vehicle. It can correct the data taking into account vehicle or ship movement.

Installation on Bluestar Ithaki deck can be seen in this picture. The system consist of a combine wind anemometer and wind vane, a thermometer, a barometer, a GPS system , a digital compass. The telecommunication system is a GPRS modem. The two other ships have the same number of transducer but they have been tested with different kind of telecommunication systems. We have tested GSM data, Inmarsat B and Satellite Internet, finally VHF systems have tested also.
The mobile weather station has been full installed by ISNet. It can display locally the gathered data and create graphs from them. It saves the data in a local database. It can send their data anywhere in the world and it can gather weather forecast charts from anywhere. ISNet collaborated with Arithmetic modeling and weather forecasting team of Athens University. This team produces weather forecasting charts and our weather station is settled to download these charts.

Meteorological laboratory

We have developed and installed a full physics laboratory for meteorological, renewable energy sources, CO2 effect. In this laboratory we have setup a Meteorological station on the roof of physics department building. This meteorological station stores the following metrological parameters:

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Wind speed
  • Wind Direction

They are store in a database and the students with there real time data make exercises on metrological parameters. The laboratory professor can handle these data or make a number of changes in order exercise become more advance.
At the renewable part we have setup Solar Panels, an Wind Generator and a controlled movement Solar Panel in order students or scientists can experiment with a number of parameters.

You can see the CO2 device that can simulate the Greenhouse effect. We have developt the device with a central CO2 gas supply.

You can see the CO2 device that can simulate the Greenhouse effect with computer and the software that student can access a number of measuring parameters. The computer software can apply filters on requesting data, can plot data in a number of formats or can supply raw data to the students or scientists.

More detailed picture of Computer Screen. The interface can plot Wind roses and other data on demand.

Request for collaboration

Small scientific teams go for collaborations and cooperation in implementation of their activities.

ISNet is a growing scientific organization which is looking for smooth implementation of their projects.

We, the team at ISNet, are alive to the rapidly changing trends and provide customized solutions keeping in view the individual needs. We believe in developing mutually beneficial relationships. The relationship will bring mutual benefits.

Benefits of Collaboration:

We believe that together we can bring strong optimization in every project that both together could hanlde.
